Where's my spell checker?

Yep, I did it too.  Went to the software depot in the sky and downloaded and installed the latest greatest version of Internet Explorer ® and Outlook Express.®  Fired up the trusty old e-mail machine and lo and behold my spell checker didn't work any more. Believing this to be an installation problem, off  I surfed to the Knowledge Base to figure out what I'd done wrong.  Son of a Gun.  Version 5.5 doesn't have the spell check capability unless you have an "Office" program installed. ( Guess whose? )
Well folks, I know for a fact it only takes 3 files placed in the Program files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Proof folder and 7 lines in the registry that can be written with or copied and pasted to a Notepad file, saved as a .reg file and then merged.
This also works for Windows 98, ME and 2000
Come on Redmond people, how about a fix for this one or you stay "under the shovel."
( It said Seattle instead of Redmond people for 4 months and no one noticed )

Add a spell checker to Internet Explorer
Ever wish you had a spell checker for Internet Explorer so you could check spelling when submitting forms or posting to a web based forum.  Well here it is.  It's called ieSpell and adds an icon to the Internet Explorer toolbar, and a "Check Spelling" option to the IE right click context menu.  Click Go get it and you will find it about one third of the way down the page on the right hand side.  ( Note: After the install is done you may have to "customize" your IE toolbar and add the icon )
